Studio Booking Deposit, Payment Policy
Recording Studio Sessions
Sessions at Metrosonic are booked on a first come first served basis. Your booking is confirmed with the receipt of your deposit. Reserved bookings require a 1/3 deposit (1/2 for weekends) and a 3 hr minimum ($195). Deposits are refundable at the discretion of management. Booked sessions may be re-scheduled without penalty up to 14 days prior to the booking date, and less than 14 days (without penalty) at management’s discretion. Unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance, payment of your balance is due at the end of the session. Any masters, tapes, files or media from a session can be released only after full payment has been received. Your final payment and/or possession taken of any session masters, media or files constitutes acceptance of services rendered and approval for that portion of the project. Clients utilizing engineering services outside of Metrosonic staff will be responsible for any equipment damaged from misuse & agree to reimburse all necessary repairs. Any bookings/sessions where as the client, producer or artist plans to record, mix, edit, or otherwise work from their own equipment utilizing personal recording media/device (hard drive, lap top, computer,etc.) must be paid in full prior to the beginning of the session unless there is a payment agreement approved by management already in place.
Refunds are available within 72 hours of your original purchase date up to a week before the event. Refunds will be made to your original payment method only. If you change your mind about your purchase, contact Metrosonic at firstname.lastname@example.org or (718) 782-1872 with your order information. If an event is canceled, Metrosonic will contact you via email with details and a refund will be granted automatically to your original payment method.
Refusal of admission
Metrosonic reserves the right to deny admission to it’s premises to anyone that appears intoxicated, under the influence or in any way disorderly. Refunds are not guaranteed in such a case and will be granted at the discretion of the management.
Metrosonic respects your privacy and will not share or sell data to any third party.
Video Likeness Release
For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby authorize Metrosonic Recording Studios, and its affiliates and licensees, to use (in whole or in part) the Material described above, including all audio-video footage and photographs taken of me and/or recordings made of my voice and/or written extraction of such recordings for the purposes of illustration, broadcast, transmittal, display or distribution in any manner throughout the world in all media.
I release Metrosonic Recording Studios, and its affiliates and licensees, from any and all claims that may arise regarding the use of the Material, including any claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity, or copyright.
I have read and understood this agreement and I am over the age of 18.
Once you submit your order, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided with your order details. This email is your ticket. You must present this email on the date and time of your event to be granted admission to Metrosonic.
You are expected to observe all rules and regulations set forth by Metrosonic during your event. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the premises. No drug use or underage drinking will be permitted and will result in expulsion from the premises.
Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
You agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event. You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the event occurs are public in nature, and that you have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the event. You grant permission to us and the Event Provider(s) to utilize your name, image, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after play or performance) for any purpose, in any manner, in any medium or context now known or hereafter developed, without further authorization from, or compensation to, you or anyone acting on your behalf.
ShowRoom Photo/Video Shoots
Rental includes the 800 sqft room and basic amenities (bathroom, Heat, electric). Studio space at Metrosonic is booked on a first come first served basis. Your booking is confirmed with the receipt of your deposit. Reserved bookings require a 1/3 deposit (1/2 for weekends) and a 3 hr minimum. Deposits are refundable at the discretion of management. Bookings may be re-scheduled without penalty up to 14 days prior to the booking date, and fewer than 14 days (without penalty) at management’s discretion. Your booking does not include the use of any studio equipment unless specified in the rental agreement. Rental of equipment is extra and available at the discretion of management. Unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance, full payment of your balance is due at the beginning of the day/booking. Spaces used must be returned to original condition by the end of the day/booking. Renter agrees to submit credit card on file to cover any cleanup fee, damages, or overages not included in the original invoice.
ShowRoom Private Events
Your reserved booking requires a 1/2 deposit to confirm. Deposits are refundable at the discretion of management. Bookings may be re-scheduled without penalty up to 30 days prior to the booking date, and less than 30 days (without penalty) at management’s discretion. Full payment of the expected total for the day’s event is required prior to the start of the event. Renter agrees to keep a credit card on file or submit a cash security deposit to cover any overages. All areas of Metrosonic & The Showroom will be delivered in a clean condition prior to the event. Renter is expected to return space to it’s original condition after the event. Renter will incur a cleaning fee for any trash or mess left behind. All equipment brought in by renter must be removed immediately following the event unless other arrangements have been made with Metrosonic management. A storage fee may be added for any equipment left beyond the scheduled load out time. Clean up and load out will begin immediately at the scheduled end of the event. Events that exceed the scheduled time will be charged an additional fee determined by the impact the overage imposes on the Showroom schedule. Clients utilizing engineering services outside of Metrosonic staff will be responsible for any equipment damaged from misuse & agree to reimburse all necessary repairs. Renter will enforce the maximum occupancy limit of 70 persons for the Showroom space. Renter will be held responsible for any inappropriate actions or misconduct of their guests. Adherence to all applicable City, State & Federal laws will be expected & enforced. Failure to do so will result in immediate expulsion from the premises and forfeiture of any payments for the day’s rental. Loitering outside the premises, in the stairwell or on the roof is not permitted. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside Metrosonic or the Showroom. Renter may not serve alcohol to minors. Renters serving alcohol are required to ID guests. Renter agrees to ensure if alcoholic beverages are consumed they are done so in a responsible manner and that all participating are confirmed to be of legal age. Metrosonic reserves the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in management’s judgment is overly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use, permit, or insurability of Metrosonic or the safety of its staff, guests, or building & it’s contents. Intervention of management or law enforcement resulting in the expulsion of the renter or renter’s guests shall in no way constitute grounds for a refund. Any event including guests under 18 will require a chaperone over the age of 21 to be present at all times.
Please keep in mind that we often receive multiple requests for the same dates. As a matter of policy & in the best interest of serving all our customers fairly, we give everyone adequate time to review their statement and respond, but must receive your deposit in a timely manner or consider other requests.
